This magnificent 27 hole golf course was inaugurated in 1992 and is one of the best and better known of Spanish courses. In the year 2000 it was recognised by the prestigious magazine Golf Digest as being within the top 100 category of best golf courses in Europe.

This 300 hectare course is located on the fringes of the Atlantic Ocean and encompasses 73 hectares of pinetree forest. Its stunning views combined with the fantastic design of its Pencross greens and Agrostis fairways ensures spectacular scenery whilst playing.

The course, designed by Enrique Canales offers a variety of challenges that will appeal to all types of players and handicaps. Many important Challenge Tour events have been played in Islantilla, including the Spanish PGA and the 1995 Turespana Masters.

The clubhouse enjoys a privileged position, located on top of a hill with spectacular views over the course and sea, and only 50 metres away from the golf hotel. The quality of food and service is excellent and can be enjoyed both inside or outside on the terrace.
